Jessica Ida Fischer, BSc

Hi, I’m Jessica — an architecture student based in Austria, currently writing my Master’s thesis: “Building for the Future – Utopias of the 1970s.”

My work explores how past visions can shape the built environment of tomorrow. What if the most radical visions are actually the most realistic answers? I see architecture as more than design — as a cultural statement, a political act, and a response to real conditions. My focus lies on what’s already here: existing structures, material cycles, and the tension between scarcity and excess. Sustainability in it’s true sense.
